Smoked Salmon Cucumber Bites

Ingredients:
- 24 slices cucumber
- 150 grams cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 150 grams smoked salmon, cut thinly into strips
- 24 small fresh dill sprigs
Method
The cool and crisp cucumber pairs perfectly with the cream cheese and savoury smoked salmon, while the seasoning and fresh dill add a pop of colour and flavour. There are 3 simple steps to make these smoked salmon cucumber bites.
Step 1
Add cream cheese, lemon juice, fresh dill, salt and pepper to the bowl of a small food processor (or to a mixing bowl if you using a mixer) and process until all ingredients are incorporated and creamy.
Step 2
Cut an English cucumber, cut into thick slices. Using a knife spread the cream cheese mixture on each cucumber slice.
Step 3
Top with pieces of smoked salmon and serve cold.
