Completes Programme to maximise Processing Efficiencies

Connemara Smokehouse Limited are delighted to announce the completion of a capital investment programme at their factory in Ballyconneely, Co. Galway. The investment consisted of the purchase and installation of a more efficient and modern vacuum packing system for their fish products.
Graham Roberts, owner of the Connemara Smokehouse Limited said “We smoke, slice and pack the very finest Irish fish, be that organic or wild salmon, mackerel or tuna, we strive every day to produce a delicious and enjoyable premium product for our customers. This investment will allow us to ensure that the product is packed and presented to the very highest standards.”
Graham Roberts, owner of the Connemara Smokehouse Limited stated, “The grant aid approved for the project is helpful to offset costs at a time of quite high operating costs for many business, the grant approved was essential for this investment and we are grateful for the support from BIM and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.”
The investment was completed with support from Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Ireland’s Seafood Development Agency, through the Brexit Processing Capital Support Scheme 2023, Brexit Adjustment Reserve fund from the European Union.
The total investment, on the project was €7,000 and grant aid of €3,500 was approved for the project by Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Ireland’s Seafood Development Agency.
