Spend time with Graham, the Master Artisan Smoker and take in the breathtaking views of the Wild Atlantic overlooking our Smokehouse. During this experience, we enter into the heart of the Smokehouse where Graham will explain all about his family history of fishing the wild Atlantic, when his parents started the business and the importance of where and how we source our fish. He will talk about the traditional technique used to fish for wild salmon and explain the difference between, wild, organic and farmed salmon and more… You’ll discover the story behind our traditional methods which have been passed down through the generations and how these time-honoured techniques set us apart from the masses. Understand the importance of small batch production and how it ensures attention to detail. Explore the history and importance of these methods and experience first-hand the difference they make in the taste, texture, and quality of our products. Obviously, it is very important to taste some of the products which really highlights the difference that our traditional methods create. As the owner and being responsible for all of our production, you will benefit from a wealth of knowledge and experience explained by Graham personally.

Visitors are welcome to drop into the Smokehouse Discovery Area & Factory Shop, have a look around and learn a little about what we do. We have some lovely panels with lots of images and information and a short video of the process. There is no charge for this and there is no need to book but sometimes it is busier than others as this space is open to the public. This proves very popular and gives a great insight into who we are and what we do.
The Smokehouse Discovery Area & Factory Shop is open to the public Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm (closed weekends & bank holidays).

Beside the Smokehouse, our seasonal Cafe & Shop is a lovely place to get a nice coffee and other refreshments while here too.
